M-tech Foto 3 4G smartphone launched at Rs. 4,499

Domestic mobile manufacturer M-tech has been busy in the last few days. While the company has launched several smartphones in the past few weeks it looks like the company is not done yet. M-tech has now launched a new affordable 4G VoLTE smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as "Foto 3" the handset is priced at Rs. 4,499.

Meanwhile talking about the new smartphone, "Mobile data usage in India has witnessed an enormous spike in data consumption and it is on the rise as millions of apps are available to satiate this demand. However, internet connectivity and voice call quality are still poor owing to outdated networks and handsets. With the all-new M-tech 4G-VoLTE enabled Foto 3 internet savvy users can now avail super fast data connectivity and superior voice call quality. It blends design, durability, performance, and affordability into one device setting new benchmarks in the industry," Goutam Kumar Jain, Co-Founder, M-tech Informatics Ltd, said.

As for the features and specifications, the handset comes with a 5-inch "FVWGA LCD" display with a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device is powered by Quad-core, 1.3 GHz processor which is paired with 1 GB of RAM. Foto 3 offers 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.

Foto 3 sports a 2+ VGA dual rear cameras and a VGA camera (unspecified) on the front. The device is backed by a 2400mAh battery and it runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Bluetooth, MicroUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio port, GPS, and supports 3G and 2G networks. It is also packed with FM radio with recording option.

The company has said that the smartphone is available across retail outlets and leading e-commerce platforms.
