M-tech launches TEZ4G smartphone for Rs. 4,999 in India

M-Tech TEZ4G sports 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It has a 5-inch XWVGA display that had 2.5 D protection.

    Smartphone manufacturer M-tech has launched an affordable 4G enabled mobile phone in India, the TEZ4G. The device retails at Rs. 4,999 in India and will be available for consumers online as well as offline.

    The smartphone has basic specifications. It has a 5-inch XWVGA display with 2.5D Dragontrail protection. The 4G enabled gizmo is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 8GB and supports memory expansion via microSD card to up to 32GB.

    M-tech TEZ4G has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

    M-Tech TEZ4G has a 2400 mAh battery and runs Android Marshmallow. The device will face competition from Chinese smartphone manufacturers that have launched some entry level smartphones in a similar price segment. It also has an Indian contender, Swipe ELITE 4G that was launched yesterday and retails for a Rs. 3,999.

    Recently, iVoomi launched a device in the Indian smartphone market that is 4G enabled and also runs Android Nougat 7.0.
