Meizu, Meizu, and Meizu! Over the last few days, all we have been hearing about is this company and its upcoming smartphones. Well, Meizu is celebrating its 15th anniversary and is expected to unveil top-of-the-line smartphones in the coming days. We already have some details about the new devices like the names which will be Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus and how they will probably look as several renders of the smartphone were leaked earlier.
While the Chinese handset maker will be basically commemorating its 15 years of operation with these anniversary phones, they are touted be impressive devices. Meizu could bring exciting and top features with the smartphones.
Having said that, a new leak has just appeared online just ahead of the launch revealing more information about one of the smartphones. This time, first live images of Meizu 15 Plus have been leaked and if this is the real image then we must say the device looks stunning from the front. The phone features almost non-existent bezels on three sides and there is a thin one at the top which basically houses the earpiece and the front camera. It also looks like the iPhone X but with little differences on the top. This could be a game changer smartphone for Meizu when it launches it in the market.
Talking about the back side, there is a dual camera setup along with some improvised flash which could double as a fingerprint scanner as well. The antenna lines have been pushed to the top and bottom edges of the smartphone. The smartphones will basically come with a metal build and it looks like it will be available in a Matte Black finish. However, that is all we can make out from the new leaked images.
As of now details about the phone's hardware is limited, but previous rumors have suggested that the device is likely to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, along with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Considering these specs, we might have to wait a little longer for the phone to be released in the market.
Meanwhile, Meizu 15 render was also leaked just a few days back on Twitter and we get some idea about the design and a look at how the smartphone will be in flesh. Meizu 15 was revealed with a curved display and while the phone looks like it has a full-screen design there was a presence of a physical home button which could double as fingerprint scanner as well. The image was a little blacked out so we couldn't exactly tell what other features were present.
