Meizu is working on launching its anniversary edition smartphones including Meizu 15 Plus, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu 15. The smartphone was a victim of leaks and most of the information related to these smartphones were out even before Meizu made any official announcement. Further, there was information that when Meizu will officially launch the devices.
Now some fresh reports are surfacing over the web that the smartphone lineup could be available for sale in China from 29th April which indicates that the devices might be launched soon in the coming weeks.
Earlier some leaked images on Weibo showed the leaked design of the Meizu smartphone which was listed on a webpage. The webpage showed the design of the Meizu 15 Plus from both front and rear. The full-screen design of the smartphone is also clearly visible as the bezel is very thin on the sides and top and is slightly thick at the bottom. The front camera is positioned at the centre of the top bezel. Considering the fact that there will be a full-screen design, the Meizu 15 Plus does not have a physical home button at the front and the same appears to have been moved to the rear panel.
At the rear, it seems like the Meizu 15 Plus will feature a dual camera setup with the two camera lenses which will be stacked vertically. There is a ring flash which is positioned below the camera module.
The smartphone is expected to make use of an octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC while the Meizu 15 is said to arrive with the Snapdragon 660 SoC. Further, it is also being reported that the device might feature 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 32GB, 64GB and 128 GB storage. The device is said to ship with Android Nougat operating system which is quite disappointing as Meizu could have used Android Oreo 8.0. That said we will keep you posted with further updates related to Meizu so stay tuned with us.
