Meizu Launches Affordable M2 Smartphone with 2GB RAM, Unibody Design at Rs 6,999

    Zhuhai based Meizu Technology, today launched the successor of the Meizu m1 in the Indian market. Dubbed as M2, this device comes with 4G connectivity, polycarbonate unibody design and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with FlyMe OS on top.

    Meizu M2, sports a 5-inch HD display with 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1280 x 720 pixels along with AGC Dragon trail glass protection.

    The GFF full lamination technology minimizes reflection and improves display quality. It is clocked at 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU besides 2GB RAM under the hood.

    On the storage front, this device houses 16GB of native storage, with an expansion option of up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

    In terms of software, this M2 is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop with FlyMe OS 4.5. Moving to the camera, M2 features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5p lens, Gorilla Glass 3 protective lens glass, 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 4p lens.

    This device supports connectivity options such as 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / GLONASS and powered by a 2500mAh battery.

    The Meizu m2 smartphone comes in White, Grey, Blue, Pink color variants at a price of Rs. 6,999. Now users can register on the e-retail store Snapdeal for sales and the last date for the registration window closes at 4pm on 11th October. It goes on sale from October 12th.
