Meizu m3 Note set to be unveiled alongside Huawei P9 on April 6
Well, it seems that Huawei P9 isn't the only smartphone scheduled to launch on April 6. In fact, another Chinese counterpart Meizu has just announced that they will be unveiling their m3 Note phablet on the same date. From what it appears, Meizu is trying to steal the spotlight away from Huawei!
Just a few hours ago, Meizu's launch plan for 2016 got leaked and now there's an official announcement for launch of a new smartphone. How better could it get! Incidentally though much of the specs of the Meizu m3 Note has leaked already. In fact, it is expected to be a worthy upgrade over the not so successful Meizu m2 Note which was launched towards the end of 2015.

As per the leaked details, the Meizu m3 Note will come with a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display and will be powered by a Mediatek P10 SoC. Apparently this is a major upgrade over its predecessor which ran on modestly powerful MT6753 chip. For those unaware the all new Helio P10 SoC makes use of eight Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2GHz each. This is clubbed with Mali T860 MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Reports further reveal that the Meizu m3 Note will be powered by an improved 3,200mAH battery. Information regarding the camera modules of the device are however not known till now. If leaks are to be believed Meizu will launch two variants of the m3 Note smartphone in China - one with 16GB at 799 Yuan (Rs 8,000 approx.) and 32GB at 999 Yuan (Rs 10,000 approx.)
