Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer may likely end the production of its popular MX series smartphones. As per a report from gizmochina.com, the company has removed the listing of Meizu MX6 from its official website as well as from its official store. The smartphone was launched in July 2016 and brought some notable upgrades in specifications and features, to beat the competition from Xiaomi, LeEco and OnePlus.

This comes as a surprise because it was reported earlier that the company is working on the next flagship smartphone- MX7. The smartphone was expected to launch with Samsung Galaxy Note 8 like 18:9 aspct ratio screen and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

But Meizu is not out of smartphone business. The reports suggest that the company is working on two mid-range Android smartphones- Meizu M15 and M15 Plus to celeberate company's 15 year anniversary.

Meizu M15 and M15 plus are expected to sport 18:9 aspect ratio Bezel-less displays. The smartphones are also expected to sport dual-lens camera setups.
Meizu M15 might get the Snapdragon 660 CPU, whereas the bigger M15 Plus is expected to be powered by the 2017 flagship CPU- Snapdragon 835.

It is being reported that the company will launch the new models by March 2018.
