Meizu Pro 5 was launched a few months back in China with top of line specifications. Apparently words regarding a Mini version of the device had cropped up back then.
However now it seems that the rumours were indeed true and Meizu is apparently working on a Mini version of the existing smartphone. The Meizu Pro 5 that is already available in China comes with 5.7" QHD display, Exynos 7420 SoC and 4GB RAM.
The Mini version which is reportedly in works, is said to come with a Mediatek SoC. And guess what it is none other than the Mediatek Helio X20 Deca Core SoC. This SoC was launched back in May this year and so far none of the smartphone manufacturer have launched a device touting this much hyped chipset.
Rest of the rumoured specs of the Pro 5 Mini includes a 4.7" Full HD (1920x1080p) display, 32GB/64GB of internal storage. Furthermore it will comes in the same unibody all metal design seen in the Pro 5 and MX5.
Leaked pricing of the Meizu Pro 5 Mini stands at 1999 Yuan (Rs 20,000 approx.) for the 32GB model. The 64GB model will be priced higher at 2499 Yuan (Rs 25,000). Nevertheless Meizu hasn't officially given any confirmation regarding the existence of the device.
