Micromax Bolt 301 with Android Kitkat launched for Rs 2,899
Micromax is on a launching spree. A day after launching the Bolt 303 budget smartphone, Micromax today launched the Bolt 301 3G compatible smartphone for merely Rs 2,899.
Key Specifications and Features:
The Micromax Bolt 301 comes with a 3.5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It offers an internal memory of 2.4GB for apps and mass storage, and supports expandable memory of 16GB on microSD card.

The phone is equipped with a 1.3-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera, coupled with a VGA front-facing camera.
The entry-level smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, which will be upgradable to Android Lollipop through FOTA soon, as per the company claims.
As for its battery back-up, the phone is powered by a 1200mAh battery, which can deliver up to 240 hours of battery back-up on the standby mode and a talk time of 4 hours. Connectivity options include of dual-SIM support, with 3G on one SIM.
The phone is priced at Rs. 2,899, and will be available in Black and White colors. At this price, it will be competing against Karbonn Smart A5 Turbo priced at Rs 2,449, and Intex Aqua 4X launched for Rs 2,999, amongst other smartphones priced under Rs 3000.
