Micromax has been teasing the launch of a new dual camera smartphone dubbed Evok Dual Note. Now, this smartphone has been announced at a price point of Rs. 9,999.
As its name indicates, the dual rear camera setup is the highlight of the Micromax Evok Dual Note. The company claims that the device is an amalgamation of ideal performance and superlative camera quality. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the smartphone will go on sale on August 22 at 12 AM exclusively via Flipkart. The device has been launched in Gold and Prussian Blue color variants with the latter available only for the 4GB variant. Notably, the price of the 4GB variant remains unknown for now.
The Micromax Evok Dual Note features metallic back with curves on the sides. The handset flaunts a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display and employs an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor that is claimed to consume 30% lesser power and provide a lag-free experience while multitasking and gaming. The Micromax smartphone has been launched in two variants - 3GB/4GB RAM both with 32GB storage space that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
On the imaging front, the Micromax Evok Dual Note features a dual camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. This camera module comes with real-time Re-Focus option to select the focus area after capturing a snap, has filters such as strong, blackboard, monochrome and whiteboard, and modes such as panorama and 3D. Up front, there is a 5MP selfie camera with a soft LED, filters and beauty mode.
There is a front-facing fingerprint sensor below the display. A 3000mAh battery powers the Micromax smartphone and is claimed to render up to 260 hours of standby time and up to 11 hours of talk time. The other aspects include 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port and OTG support.
The sale of the Micromax Evok Dual Note is slated to debut on August 22 at 12 AM on Flipkart with attractive launch offers. The phone will be available along with exchange offers, EMI payment options starting from Rs. 1,667 per month and special plans for Idea users.
