Microsoft Launches Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL Smartphones in India at Rs. 43,699 and Rs. 49,399
As promised, the Redmond giant Microsoft officially took the wraps of off Lumia flagship smartphones - Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL in the Indian market at an event today.

The Lumia smartphones come with Microsoft's Windows Hello technology feature even though it's in Beta version. This feature will help the user to unlock the device, by recognizing the face when picked up.

To make it further better, the company has employed liquid cooling technology inside, to keep the device's processors and chips at a low temperature.

Microsoft Lumia 950 - Key Specifications
Microsoft Lumia 950, sports a 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED display with Glance screen. It is powered by a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 Hexa-Core processor clubbed with 3GB RAM under the hood.

Moving on to the imaging factor, this device flaunts a 20MP PureView sensor with 5th-gen optical stabilization and Carl Zeiss optics rear camera, which records 2160p video natively with Lumia's traditional Hi-Fi audio recording, 5MP front snapper for selfie without flash.
Other specs include, 32GB of internal storage, 3,000mAh battery, USB Type-C and wireless charging. With the USB Type-C connector users can hook the Display Dock, which gives you HDMI and DisplayPort video out plus three USBs.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL flaunts a 5.7-inch with QHD AMOLED display with glance screen just like the 950 device. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 810 chipset along with Adreno 430 GPU clubbed with 3GB RAM under the hood.

On the camera department, this flagship device sports a 20MP PureView sensor with 5th-gen optical stabilization and Carl Zeiss optics rear camera, which records 2160p video natively with Lumia's traditional Hi-Fi audio recording, 5MP front snapper for selfie.

Also, it comes with RGB LEDs for natural lighting for low-light shots. Further, it comes with Qi wireless charging, 3,300mAh battery which takes 30 minutes for 50% battery charge, Windows 10 OS, USB Type-C connector.

Starting today, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL will be available for pre-booking at a price of Rs. 43,699 and Rs. 49,399 respectively on Microsoft Priority Resellers, Amazon India and other retail stores including Croma, Reliance and Sangeetha.
It will go on sale starting from December 11. Also, the consumers will get Microsoft Display Dock free as a limited period offer along with free double data for Airtel users.
