Microsoft Surface Mobile with QHD display, Intel chipset coming this October?

Microsoft has officially announced a few months back that they will be focusing fully on manufacturing top pf the line smartphones while they will leave the budget and the mid range segment to its hardware partner.

So far it seems that Microsoft Flagship focus plan may bear fruit this fall. A recent leaks suggest that along with the alleged Lumia 950(Talkman) and 950XL (Cityman), Microsoft will be launching a ‘true' flagship dubbed the Surface Mobile.

The company Surface Pro tablets have tasted a fair amount of success in the recent past, so a Surface branding in the mobile department doesn't seem pretty unusual. As a result of the Surface branding in the mobile division Microsoft can create an own brand portfolio in the mobile market, thereby moving away for the the Lumia brand tag of the Finnish company Nokia.

The company ‘true' flagship smartphone had been codenamed Juggernaut Alpha and is tipped to launch athr phone somewhere round the end or the beginning of next year. The rumours regarding the alleged Juggernaut Alpha project though, first cropped first back in 2012 indicating the company's internal effort to a create a Surface phone. This was in fact much before the company's infamous acquisition of Nokia and from then onwards the impetus shifted to Lumia branded Microsoft device.

Nevertheless it seems like Microsoft has brought alive this project, and is planning to launch a power packed smartphone to give a stiff competition to its Android and iOS counterparts. It is tipped to pack a QHD display, 4GB of RAM and a 21MP PureView camera wrapped in an aluminium magnesium alloy body.

Looking at the specs, this rumoured Surface Mobile apparently seems to be way powerful and feature packed than the ordinary Lumia device we are used to seeing. Hence in case rumours do come out to be true, Microsoft does have a game changer in their hands which can really turn the fortunes of the Windows 10 Mobile market.
