Moto Edge 40 5G, Moto G32 Launched in India in New Colors

The Moto Edge 40 5G was launched last month in India. At the time of launch, the smartphone came in three colour variants - Reseda Green, Eclipse Black, and Lunar Blue. Now, a month later, Motorola has added a new colour variant to the series. The Moto Edge 40 5G is now also available in Viva Magenta colourway.

The new colour looks the most vibrant out of them all, and is instantly eye-catching. The specifications of the new colourway remains the same as well as the price. The Viva Magenta shade is available in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Moto also launched two new colours for the budget Moto G32. The smartphone is now available in Satin Maroon and Rose Gold colours, alongside the previously available colours.

Despite sporting new colours, both the Moto Edge 40 5G and the Moto G32 in the new shades are available at the same price as before. The Moto Edge 40 5G comes in a single RAM and storage variant and is priced at Rs 29,999. On the other hand, the Moto G32 comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at Rs 11,999.

Both smartphones are available on Flipkart and Motorola's official website. But some of the new colours are yet to show up on the ecommerce platform but are available on the company's official site.

Moto Edge 40 5G: Specifications and Features

The Moto Edge 40 5G marries high-end specifications with 5G connectivity. It comes with a 144Hz display and vegan leather finish for a few shades of colors. Not the new one though. The Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch OLED display which is curved from the edges which lights up when a notification is received.

The smartphone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC and comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on a 4,400 mAh battery with 68W fast charging. The Edge 40 5G also supports 15W wireless charging.

The Edge 40 5G comes with a 50MP primary camera and is assisted by a 13MP ultrawide camera. The primary camera has a 2 micron pixel pitch along with OIS. On the front is a 32MP shooter for selfies.

The Edge 40 5G runs on Android 13 out of the box with Moto's MyUx on top.
