At the bottom, users can find a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and microphone, while the 3.5mm audio jack is positioned at the top. Additionally, the smartphone will incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint scanner seamlessly integrated into the power button.

Expected Specifications

Moving on to the anticipated specifications, the Moto G Play (2024) is expected to flaunt a 6.5-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and a high 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will be a Qualcomm octa-core chipset, offering smooth performance. The smartphone is likely to be available in a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration, with the option for storage expansion via a microSD card slot.

In a departure from its predecessor, the Moto G Play (2023), the Moto G Play (2024) will feature a notable upgrade in the camera department. Instead of a triple-camera setup, the upcoming device is expected to sport a powerful 50MP single camera at the back, capable of recording 4K videos. For selfies and video calls, users can rely on an 8MP front-facing camera.

Fueling the Moto G Play (2024) will be a substantial 5,000mAh battery, ensuring prolonged usage without frequent recharging. On the software front, the device is expected to run Android 13 out of the box, providing users with the latest features and enhancements.

Pricing and Availability

While the exact launch date remains undisclosed, reports from Smartmania suggest that the Moto G Play (2024) is likely to make its official debut next month. The anticipated price tag for this promising device is around $169 (Roughly Rs 14,100), making it an attractive option in the mid-range smartphone market.
