Moto G6 Play leaked renders show the device in all its glory

Motorola may be gearing up to launch several new smartphones in the market soon. Just last week Moto G6 series and E5 series smartphones alleged specs and renders were leaked online. And today a new leak about one the of the G6 series smartphone Moto G6 Play has appeared. Further, the new leak reveals the device in full detail.

Going by the leaked images of the smartphone Moto G6 Play will feature a 16:9 aspect ratio screen and it looks like it will be missing out on the edge-to-edge screen that will probably be featured on other Motorola models. So in the image, you can see that the handset has big bezels on the top and bottom. However, Moto G6 Play is expected to be the most affordable device in the lineup.

At the back, the handset seems to come with a metal build and will have a single camera setup along with flash and there is a huge ring around the camera setup. We cannot define what it is right now but it should come with some specific function.

There is a fingerprint scanner as well but what's interesting is that the company has included the brand logo on top of the scanner. The power and volume buttons are on the right side while the SIM slot is on the left side. The handset is equipped with a 3.5mm jack and USB-Type C port. All in all the device has a good design and it looks sturdy.

That is all we can make out about the device right now. More leaks should pop up in the coming days.

Meanwhile, previous rumors and leaks have suggested that Moto G6 Play could come with a 4000 mAh battery, 5.7-inch HD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 430 chipset, and it will be made available in three color versions which will include Dark Charcoal, Deep Blue, and Gold colors. The smartphone is said to have a brand new glass-and-metal design, similar to that of last year's Moto X4.

With Mobile World Congress 2018 approaching fast Motorola is expected to launch the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus at the event.
