We know that Motorola will unveil the new G6 series smartphones on April 19. As we are just a few more days away from the launch date, we are coming across many leaks and speculations regarding the smartphone. The latest one comes in the form of benchmark scores and it belongs to the high-end device among the three - the Moto G6 Plus.

Moto G6 Plus Geekbench listing reveals key specs

The Geekbench listing of the Moto G6 Plus spotted by MySmartPrice shows that the smartphone manages to score 866 and 4123 points in the single-core and multi-core tests. Besides the test scores, the listing also sheds light on a few specifications such as the presence of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC teamed up with 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM.

Moto G6 Plus rumored specs

Previous reports have tipped that the Moto G6 Plus might make use of a Snapdragon 630 SoC but this listing suggests a different processor. Also, it is speculated to be available in a variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space. We can expect this to be the base variant of the Moto G6 Plus while the high-end variant might have 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. The benchmark listing also tips that the smartphone will run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Last week, we came across the leaked renders of the Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus. The renders tipped that there could be an elongated display with 18:9 aspect ratio. And, the Moto G6 Plus is believed to feature a 5.7-inch display. The renders show that the bezels at the sides will be narrow but the top and bottom bezels appear to be prominent with enough space to house the fingerprint sensor at the front.

It is believed that the Moto G6 Plus might feature a dual-camera setup at its rear with 12MP and 5MP sensors. At the front, there could be a 16MP sensor with a dedicated LED flash as well. We can expect the smartphone to feature the company's TurboPower fast charging capability too.

Moto Z2 Force Unboxing and First Impressions

From the leaked specifications, the Moto G6 Plus is said to be the top-end variant with better specs than the G6 and G6 Play. This way, it will be the most expensive one in the new G6 series. We can expect the Moto G6 Plus to compete against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6 priced in the similar bracket.
