Moto G8 Plus First Sale Debuts October 29: Price, Offers, And Specifications

Motorola expanded its G series with the launch of G8 Plus recently in India. The handset offers an action camera sensor which we first saw on the Motorola One Action. The company didn't reveal the sale dates during the launch, but did reveal its pricing. Now, the smartphone's sale details are out. Let's have a look:

The Motorola G8 Plus is launched at Rs. 13,999 and is scheduled to go on sale on October 29 for the first time. The device will be available for purchase online on Flipkart starting 12:00 PM. You can select from two different color variants - Crystal Pink and Cosmic Blue.

There are a couple of offers Motorola is giving during the first sale. If you buy the handset from Flipkart, you will get a Cleartrio coupon worth Rs. 3,000 and up to Rs. 2,200 cashback if you are a Reliance Jio customer. There are also Zoom Car Vouchers (car-rental service) worth Rs 2,000.

The Moto G8 Plus's highlight feature is its triple-lens rear camera module which is equipped with a 48MP ISOCELL Samsung GM1Bright sensor. The primary sensor is accompanied by a 16MP action camera with an f/1.22 aperture and 117-degree FoV.

There is also a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The camera comes with a dedicated Night mode, Spot color feature, and supports up to 4K videos @30fos and 1080p slow-motion videos @120fps.

Up front, the device sports a .3inch LCD display with 1080 x 2280 pixels FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The display offers an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a pixel density of 400 PPI.

Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It ships with Android Pie OS and like previous-generation Motorola devices, offer a stock Android experience. The unit gets its charge from a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 15W Turbo charging.
