Moto G85 5G Launch Likely Soon; Spotted on BIS and TENAA Certifications
Motorola is expected to launch a new G-series smartphone dubbed the G85 5G soon. The smartphone already visited multiple certification sites including Geekbench.
Now, it has been spotted on TENAA and BIS certifications, hinting at an imminent launch. While the BIS listing doesn't reveal any specifications, the TENAA listing has shared detailed features of the Moto G85 5G. Let's dive into the details.

Moto G85 5G Features (Expected)
The Moto G85 5G with model number XT2427-4 has visited the TENAA certification. As per the TENAA listing, the phone will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ (1080 × 2400pixels) resolution. The smartphone will have an octa-core processor with a 2.3GHz peak frequency.
However, the Geekbench listing already suggested that it might ship with the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 which is fabricated on the 6nm process.
Moreover, the Moto G85 5G is likely to come with dual rear cameras including a 50MP main lens and an 8MP secondary camera. For selfies, it could offer a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone is likely to pack a 4850 mAh battery and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The charging capabilities are still unknown at this moment.
The TENAA listing further reveals the Moto G85 5G will measure 161.9 × 73 × 7.5mm in dimension and weigh 171 grams. The smartphone is also expected to come in 8GB/ 12GB/ 16GB/ 18GB RAM and 128GB/ 256GB/ 512GB/ 1TB storage options.

The exact launch timeline for the Moto G85 5G is still under wraps. However, the BIS listing confirms the phone will make its way into the Indian market in the future. Now, Motorola is gearing up to launch Edge 50 Ultra on June 18 in the country. Following the launch, the flagship will be available via Flipkart. It is also expected to come under the Rs 50,000 segment.
