Motorola has officially launched a new smartphone in its G series in India. The Moto G85 5G arrives in the country's mid-range smartphone segment, sitting right under the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.

To recall, the Moto G85 5G was unveiled last month in China as the Moto S50 Neo. The Moto G85 5G also debuts as the first smartphone in the India to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. Now, let's take an in-depth look at the Moto G85 5G's specifications and pricing.

The Moto G85 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Moto G85 runs a near-stock version of Android 14. Motorola promises two years of OS upgrades and four years of regular security updates with the G85 5G.

Motorola's latest G series smartphone sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ P-OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The handset also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging support.
