Moto G86 5G, G56 5G Full Specifications Revealed Through Leaked Promo Material: Check Expected Launch Timeline

Motorola is gearing up to unveil two new smartphones in its affordable G series in Europe soon. The Moto G86 5G and Moto G56 5G were recently leaked in what appears to be official looking marketing material.

The leaks come courtesy of tipster Evan Blass (@eveleaks) and suggest that the launch of the two new G series phones could take place as early as this month. Moreover, we also believe that both the Moto G86 5G and G56 5G will launch in India towards the end of May or first half of June.

Moto G86 5G Specifications

According to the leaks, the Moto G86 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The phone will come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage with a microSD card slot for expansion.

The promo material also reveals that the Moto G86 5G will feature a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a macro mode. Up front, the device is touted to feature a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The successor to the Moto G85 5G is expected to pack a massive 6,720 mAh or 5,200 mAh battery depending on the region. It will also support 33W wired fast charging. The G86 5G could also sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved pOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also pack dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Moto G86 5G is expected to run Android 15 out of the box with two major OS updates and four years of regular security patches. The leaked promo material also reveals the phone's MIL-810H certification, Gorilla Glass 7i protection up front, and IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Moto G56 5G Specifications

On the other hand, the tipster claims that the Moto G56 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Additionally, the G56 6G is also expected to pack a 5,200 mAh battery with 33W wired charging support.

Motorola's upcoming affordable 5G phone will sport a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Moreover, the phone is MIL-810H certified and features Gorilla Glass 7i protection up front. It also boasts an IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

For optics, the Moto G56 5G is expected to offer a similar setup as the Moto G86 5G, including the 50MP primary sensor, the 8MP ultrawide lens, and the 32MP selfie camera. The Moto G86 5G is expected to run Android 15 out of the box with up to two major OS updates and up to four years of regular security patches.
