Moto G86 Power with MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, 6720mAh Battery, IP68+IP69 Rating Launched in India

Motorola has officially unveiled a new affordable 5G smartphone in India. The Moto G86 Power features a MediaTek chipset, a 50MP dual-camera setup, the brightest OLED display in the segment, a massive battery with fast charging support, and a clean operating system with several AI features.

The Moto G86 Power price in India is set at Rs 17,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB model. The Moto G86 Power comes in Pantone Cosmic Sky, Pantone Golden Cypress, and Pantone Spellbound colour options. Launch promotions include Rs. 1000 off through select banks or an additional Rs. 1000 discount upon exchange.

The Moto G86 Power will go on sale in India for the first time on August 6 through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and offline retailers. In India, the Moto G86 Power will compete against the likes of the Galaxy F36 5G and iQOO Z10R.

Moto G86 Power Specifications

The Moto G86 Power 5G runs on Android 15 and promises two OS updates along with four years of security patches. It offers IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, complemented by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front. The phone is equipped with a substantial 6720mAh battery that supports 33W TurboPower fast charging.

In terms of display, the phone sports a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. Under the hood, it houses an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor clocked at up to 2.5GHz, alongside a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The device comes with 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.

The rear camera setup includes a primary 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens offering a field of view of 118 degrees and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, there is a 32MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture integrated into the display. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. Audio capabilities include USB Type-C audio support, stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos, and dual microphones for improved sound quality.

Connectivity options for the Moto G86 Power 5G include support for both SA/NSA modes of 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac) operating on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth version 5.4, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou navigation systems, and USB Type-C connectivity. The dimensions of the device are measured at 161.21 x 74.74 x 8.65mm, weighing approximately 198 grams. It adheres to MIL-STD-810H certification standards for durability under various conditions.
