Moto G96 5G Launch Date in India Set for July 9: Chipset, Display, Cameras Confirmed via Flipkart

Motorola is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in its affordable G series in India soon. Ahead of the launch, Motorola has confirmed several details about the Moto G96 5G.

The Moto G96 5G launch date in India is set for July 9 at 12 noon IST. Following the launch, the Moto G96 will go on sale in India through Flipkart and Motorola.com. We expect the Moto G96 5G price in India could fall between Rs 20,000 to Rs 22,000.

The Motorola G96 5G will come in three shades - pink, green, and light blue. Judging by the official Flipkart microsite, the Moto G96 5G will feature a vegan leather back panel.

Moto G96 Specifications

The Moto G96 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The phone will likely be paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Moto G96 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch 144Hz POLED curved display with 10-bit colour depth.

The phone is anticipated to include a 50MP Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Additionally, it will have an 8MP ultra-wide secondary camera that also supports macro photography. A 32MP front-facing camera is expected as well.

For audio, stereo speakers are likely to be included along with Dolby Atmos support. This should enhance the overall sound experience for users. The device is said to come with a robust 5,500mAh battery. Fast charging capabilities are expected, with support for up to 68W charging speeds.
