Yesterday, Lenovo owned Motorola has officially took the wraps of Moto Z Play, a mid-range variant of Moto Z and Moto Z Force! On the other hand, the company is reportedly working on a new Smartphone under new 'M' series.

Few days back, the very same phone with codename Motorola XT 1663 has been spotted on the GFXBench listing. As per the report, this Smartphone is touted as the successor of Moto X Smartphone that was launched three backs ago!

Moto M spotted with unibody design!
The so-called Moto M has been spotted on TENAA for certification purpose, revealing the live images of the device. As per the leaked images, the alleged Moto M is expected to come with metal body along with a traditional chamfered curved edge! Meanwhile, the Motorola dimple has been replaced by a fingerprint sensor with the logo shifted to the bottom.
Moto M in two variants?
The Moto M has been spotted on two places with entirely different specifications! As per the GFXBench, the Moto M is supposed to come packed with 4.6-inch display, 1.9GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset with Mali-T860 GPU, 3GB RAM, 25GB of inbuilt memory under the hood. Further, this Smartphone is expected to come packed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow , 15MP/7MP camera package respectively.
On the other hand, the device purported to be the Moto M has been surfaced with different model number -- XT1662 As per the report, this Smartphone is said to feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080p, 2.2GHz Octa-core SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB ROM with an expandable option of 32GB via MicroSD card slot.
Moto M is the first smartphone to...!
As per the tradition, the company always houses the fingerprint sensor on the front in case of Moto G4 and Moto Z smartphones. However, this is the first time, that the company is employing the fingerprint on the back with Moto M.

However, there is no information between the pricing of the device as of now! Being a mid-ranger, this smartphone will sit in between the Moto G and Moto Z series of smartphone on price.
