Moto Razr 2019 Official Teaser Indicates Imminent Launch In India

Motorola revived its classic flip phone Razr last month with a clamshell dual-display design. The Moto Razr 2019 comes as the company's take on the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X. Last month, the company had teased its launch in India also a pre-registration page was made live. Now, the company has once again teased its arrival in the country.

Motorola has teased the arrival of the Moto Razr 2019 in India via a tweet on its official account. While there is no date mentioned in the tweet, one can see the device from various angles. Moto Razr Flip 2019 Specifications And Features

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X, the Moto Razr 2019 offers a folding display flip form factor. When folded, the top of the flip offers a 2.7-inch display panel that has 600 x 800 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 4:3.

Upon unfolding, the display measures 6.2-inches and is a pOLED panel with a tall 21:9 aspect ratio. It delivers an HD resolution of 876 x 2142 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor which currently is used by some popular mid-range devices like the Realme X, Oppo Reno, and Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro.

The handset has been announced with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. In the software department, it will ship with Android Pie OS and will offer a stock Android user experience.

For optics, the device has a 16MP primary camera sensor with an f/1.7 aperture which can also be used to capture selfies when the device is folded. Inside the flip, the device packs a 5MP camera for selfies. When you click selfies using this camera, the outer display will function as a viewfinder.

Additional features include a fingerprint scanner, eSIM connectivity, nano-coating (water repellant), and a USB Type-C port that doubles up as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device packs a 2,510 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
