Moto Razr 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, IPX8 Rating Launched: Vanilla Razr 50 Tags Along
Motorola has officially announced new flip smartphones in China. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra arrives with flagship specifications and will compete against the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is slated to arrive early next month.
Like its predecessor, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra will also feature a large cover screen that encompasses the top half of the back panel. Motorola recently confirmed that the Moto Razr 50 Ultra will arrive in India sometime next month.

Moto Razr 50 Series Pricing, Colors
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra price in China starts from CNY 5,699 (roughly Rs 65,500) for the base 12GB/256GB model and CNY 6,199 (roughly Rs 72,250) for the 12GB/512GB configuration. The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is offered in three Pantone Validated colors including Dill, Navy Blazer, and Peach Fuzz.
The Moto Razr 50 price in China starts from CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs 42,500) for the base 8GB/256GB model and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 45,950) for the 12GB/512GB configuration. The Moto Razr 50 is offered in three Pantone Validated colors including Steel Wool, Pumice Stone, and Arabesque.
All three models of the Moto Razr 50 come in vegan leather finishes. As of now, there is no word on the release of the Moto Razr 50 series outside China, although Motorola has already confirmed that Razr 50 Ultra will be arriving in India soon.
Moto Razr 50 Ultra Specifications
The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and will come with several AI features. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The latest Razr 50 Ultra flip smartphone runs Android 14-based Moto MyUX.

The Moto Razr 50 Ultra sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ P-OLED internal display with a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen will feature an adaptive 1Hz - 165Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also boasts a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The phone also features a massive 4-inch cover display, the biggest on a flip smartphone.
Moreover, the cover screen features the same specifications as the internal display, including the FHD+ resolution, the adaptive 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a slightly lower 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The cover display allows you to access several features including watching videos, get navigation details, and access apps.
Motorola has also updated the camera setup on the Razr 50 Ultra. It now consists of a 50 MP primary camera sensor with OIS and an f/1.7 aperture and a 50 MP telephoto unit with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom.
Lastly, the hole-punch camera cutout on the screen houses a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra also features a 6000 series aluminum frame and an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
Motorola Razr 50 Specifications
The vanilla Motorola Razr 50 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with the Mali-G615 GPU and MediaTek's HyperEngine for powerful graphics performance. The flip smartphone also packs a 4,200 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support.
The Razr 50 features the same software, main camera, and inner display as the Razr 50 Ultra. However, the vanilla Razr 50 sports a slightly smaller 3.6-inch P-OLED cover screen, although it is a huge step up from the Razr 40. Additionally, the vanilla Razr 50 also boasts a downgraded 13 MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
