Moto X Play Might Get Android 7.1 Nougat Update By the End of January 2017
Moto X Play to soon get upgraded to Android 7.1 Nougat.
Motorola launched its Moto X Play in India in September 2015 with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version. Well, the smartphone is said to be testing Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and the users are soon expected to receive the update. However, there still hasn't been an official announcement for the same.
Motorola is supposedly testing the latest Android Nougat software, and as per the latest media reports, the company will soon release the new upgrade for its devices as well.

As per the reports, the GFX listing of the smartphone shows Android 7.1 Nougat in the operating system now, in place of the earlier Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version. The company is expected to officially roll out the latest version by the end of January 2017.
Earlier, Motorola had announced that they are trying their hands at updating the device and will soon be upgrading it to the newer version Android 7.0 Nougat. However, the company may just skip the plan and directly move on to Android 7.1 Nougat. Hence, all the devices including Moto X Play, X Force, X Pure and more might directly get upgraded to Android 7.1 Nougat from 5.1.1 Lollipop by the end of January 2017.
As per the Moto X Play GFXBench listing, the smartphone consists of a 5.5-inch display with 1920x1080 pixels resolution along with 5-finger gesture support as well.
