Moto X70 Air Price Confirmed Ahead of Launch: Will Debut as Motorola Edge 70 Globally

Motorola unveiled the Moto X70 Air in China a couple of weeks ago. However, the official Moto X70 Air launch date in China is set for October 31. Ahead of the launch, the ultra-slim Moto X70 Air is currently up for pre-order in China.

The Moto X70 Air price in China starts from 2,599 Yuan (roughly Rs 32,000) for the base 12GB/256GB configuration, while the 12GB/512GB variant will set you back CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs 35,700). The Moto X70 Air can be pre-ordered from platforms such as Lenovo Mall and JD.com.

The Moto X70 Air will debut as the Motorola Edge 70 globally on November 5. Additionally, the Motorola Edge 70 is also expected to make its debut in India following its global debut. We expect the Motorola Edge 70 price in India to start from under Rs 50,000. Buyers can choose from Gadget Grey, Lily Pad, and Bronze Green color options, all of which are Pantone-validated to ensure accurate colour representation.

The Moto X70 Air delivers a stunning 6.7-inch pOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution (1,220 × 2,712 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness-ideal for immersive viewing in any light. This Pantone-certified panel also carries SGS eye-care protection and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for a clean, seamless front.

Under the hood, it runs on Android 16 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage to ensure smooth multitasking and fast app launches. Thermal performance is handled by a built-in 3D vapour chamber to keep things cool under heavy use. In battery and charging terms, the X70 Air packs a 4,800 mAh battery and supports 68W wired charging plus 15-20W wireless charging, providing impressive endurance in a remarkably slim body.
