Motorola Android 17 Update: Over 50 Phones Eligible for Stable Rollout, Check Full List

Motorola has been testing Android 17 on several smartphones, and the company has now revealed which devices are eligible for the major Android update. The list covers more than 50 smartphones across its Razr, Edge, Moto G and Signature lineups.

Unlike some smartphone brands, Motorola does not publish a single consolidated list of Android update-eligible devices. Instead, it updates the software support information on the dedicated pages for individual models. Motorola Android 17 Stable Rollout Begins

Motorola has also made notable progress with its Android 17 rollout. The company started accepting beta applications shortly after Google released Android 17 Beta 1 and expanded the programme beyond just its premium smartphones, including several Moto G models.

More importantly, Motorola has already started rolling out the stable Android 17 update, with the Motorola Edge 2025 reportedly being the first device to receive it. The rollout is expected to expand to additional eligible smartphones in the coming weeks.

Motorola has historically lagged behind some competitors when it comes to major Android updates, but the company has been improving its rollout timelines. Its Android 16 rollout was quicker than previous generations, and the broader Android 17 beta programme suggests the company is continuing that push.
