Motorola's Book-Style Foldable Appears On Geekbench: Expected Specifications And Other Details
It is October 23 which means that every tech enthusiast is busy talking about the iPhone Duo. But, what if we tell you that another book-style foldable has just made an appearance on Geekbench? We are talking about the Motorola Razr Flex.

The Geekbench listing suggests that the phone could use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and run Android 17. However, do remember that Motorola has not confirmed the device's name or specifications yet. So, it is best to take this information with a pinch of salt.
Motorola previously teased a wide-screen foldable smartphone, signalling its entry into the book-style foldable segment. Unlike the company's Razr flip phones, the upcoming device is expected to open like a book, with a larger internal display for multitasking, gaming and watching videos.
Motorola Razr Flex Processor And Other Specifications
According to a report by Android Headlines, Motorola's upcoming foldable carries the codename 'Parker' and could launch under the Moto Razr name. The device is also being referred to as the Moto Razr Flex in recent reports.
The Geekbench listing identifies the phone as the Motorola Razr Flex 27 and points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The tested device also features 12GB of RAM and runs Android 17. These details suggest that Motorola is testing the phone with hardware designed to handle demanding apps and multitasking, although its final configuration could differ.
The listing records 2,669 points in the single-core test and 8,837 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6. These scores offer an early look at the device's performance, but they should not be treated as final results. The phone is yet to launch, and its performance could change with further hardware and software optimisation.
Motorola Razr Flex Expected Specs
Leaked design renders suggest that Motorola's upcoming foldable could be available in two colour options: PANTONE Dark Botanical Garden and PANTONE Coriander. The rear panel is expected to feature a pill-shaped camera module housing the two camera sensors, alongside an LED flash and another sensor.
Moreover, the phone is tipped to feature a 6.92-inch OLED main display with a resolution of 2,364 x 1,728 pixels. The screen could support a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, along with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. On the outside, the phone is expected to feature a 4.97-inch OLED cover display with a resolution of 1,736 x 1,140 pixels.
For photography, the foldable could feature two rear cameras, including a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It is also tipped to feature two 32MP selfie cameras, one for the internal screen and another for the cover display. This setup could allow users to take selfies and make video calls using either screen.
Other expected specifications include a 5,000mAh battery with USB Power Delivery wired charging and 25W Qi2 wireless charging support. The phone could also feature Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and IP48/IP49 durability ratings. It is expected to ship with Android 17, although Motorola has yet to confirm its software plans.
When is Motorola Razr Flex Launching?
The Geekbench listing's 'Razr Flex 27' name could point to a 2027 branding scheme, similar to Motorola's reported Signature 27 naming. However, the final retail name remains unconfirmed. Reports suggest that the foldable could launch in December 2026, but Motorola has not announced an official launch date or pricing.
If these specifications prove to be true, the Moto Razr Flex could compete with other book-style foldables, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Apple's iPhone Duo. However, its final price, performance and availability will determine how it compares with its rivals.
For now, the Geekbench listing offers an early look at Motorola's upcoming foldable, while its complete specifications and launch details remain under wraps.
