Motorola ditches Flipkart; Adds Snapdeal, Amazon as Partners

In a recent development, Motorola has announced that consumers will now be able to buy Moto smartphones from a wider range of offline and online retailers through their distribution partner Brightstar India. Till now, Motorola smartphones were only available online e-commerce site Flipkart.

At the same time from September 25 onwards, e-shoppers including Amazon India and Snapdeal will also start offering the Moto E 3G/4G LTE. At the same the the 4G versions will also be available at select Airtel stories.

"Responding to growing demand from our consumers we have made a strategic move of increasing the availability of our portfolio across offline and multiple online shopping platforms. To start off, we will be available at select stores for our consumers to experience and purchase the device.
