Motorola has scheduled an event on September 21, 2023, to launch the Motorola Edge 40 Neo. The smartphone has already received a dedicated microsite on Flipkart. Even Motorola's official Indian website is promoting the device.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G is a visually stunning Android smartphone, which will be available in Black Beauty, Soothing Sea, and Caneel Bay color options. Buyers would also be able to get a model with a leather back panel.
The latest leak about the Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G claims the smartphone will start at ₹24,999.
Motorola has confirmed the Edge 40 Neo will be available with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of uMCP storage. However, there could be an entry-level variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The leaked ₹24,999 retail price could be valid for the 8GB + 128GB base variant of the Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G. The smartphone's top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 25GB storage should cost more than ₹25,000.
Motorola recently launched the Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G in the EMEA region. The brand is selling the top-end 12GB + 256GB model of the Edge 40 Neo for €399(approx. ₹35,481).

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution. The 1080p display supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and hides an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Motorola has embedded the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC inside the Edge 40 Neo, which is paired with Mali-G610 MC1 GPU. Buyers get up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of uMCP internal storage.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by an OIS-enabled 50MP primary camera. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an LED flash. There's a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
