The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a global Android smartphone that has been officially launched outside China. It is the third device in the Edge 40 series, which includes the entry-level Edge 40 and the top-end Edge 40 Pro.

Motorola has launched the Motorola Edge 40 Neo in Europe, the Middle East, And Africa (EMEA). The smartphone is available in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea color options with vegan leather back panels.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be available with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. There are no other variants, at least in these regions. The sole 12GB + 256GB model of the Edge 40 Neo has been priced at EURO 399 (approx. ₹35,000).

The Edge 40 Neo variant launching in India next week, should be nearly identical to the one that has been launched in Europe. However, Motorola may offer an additional 8GB + 128GB model of the smartphone.

Moreover, both variants should have a significantly lower price tag. Some reports suggest the Edge 40 Neo will be priced lower than ₹25,000 in India.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution. The 1080p display supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and hides an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Motorola has embedded the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC inside the Edge 40 Neo, which is paired with Mali-G610 MC1 GPU. Buyers get 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of uMCP internal storage.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by an OIS-enabled 50MP primary camera. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an LED flash. There's a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Motorola has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the Edge 40 Neo, which supports 68W wired fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 13 with a custom layer of MyUX. The device has secured an IP68 rating for protection from dust and water splashes.
