Motorola Edge 40 Neo launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC, IP68 Rating
Motorola has officially unveiled the Edge 40 Neo in India. The device is the third phone in the company's Edge 40 series, following the launch of the Motorola Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo arrives as a value-oriented smartphone with a MediaTek chip, a dual-camera setup, a super-smooth curved OLED display, a large battery, fast charging support, and an IP68 rating, which is unheard-of in this price range.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo Pricing, Availability in India
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo price in India starts from Rs 20,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the handset is also offered in a 12GB/256GB configuration that will set you back Rs 22,999.
Motorola has mentioned that these are "Festive Special" prices, which does suggest a future price hike. The first sale for the Motorola Edge 40 Neo in India will take place on September 28 at 07:00 pm (IST) via Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo Specifications
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo arrives as the first smartphone to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC. The chip is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, the handset also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
The Edge 40 Neo runs Android 13-based My UX with Motorola promising two OS upgrades and three years of monthly security updates. The device supports 15 5G bands and offers Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Motorola's latest mid-range smartphone packs stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio.
For optics, the Edge 40 Neo gets a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS and a 13 MP ultrawide lens with also supports a macro mode. Up front, the Edge 40 Neo is equipped with a 32 MP selfie camera. The 50 MP shooter on the Edge 40 Neo can capture 4K video at up to 60fps.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED curved display with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The Motorola Edge features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, which is impressive given the price of the device.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo comes in Caneel Bay, Beauty Black, and Soothing Sea colour options. Moreover, the black model features an acrylic finish, while the other two variants opt for a vegan leather back panel. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo comes in a 100% plastic-free sustainable eco packaging that use recycled and recyclable materials.
