Motorola Edge 40 Neo specifications, pricing tipped ahead of expected September launch

Motorola is expected to launch a new smartphone in the Edge series soon. The Motorola Edge 40 series was unveiled back in April, introducing the Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro. And now, Motorola is expected to bring the Moto Edge 40 Neo into the fray.

According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Moto Edge 40 Neo is expected to launch sometime in September. While Motorola has yet to confirm details about the Edge 40 Neo, Guglani jumped the gun revealing key information about the Edge 40 Neo design and specifications.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo price is expected to fall under £290 (roughly Rs 25,900) for the base model. The Edge 40 Neo will also come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo Specs

The Moto Edge 40 Neo is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC. The handset will run near-stock Android 13 out of the box.

For optics, the Edge 40 Neo is expected to get a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide unit. Up front, the Edge 40 Neo will opt for a 32 MP selfie camera.

The Edge 40 Neo will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola is expected to equip the handset with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging. The tipster also notes that the Edge 40 Neo will have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
