Motorola Edge 50 Pro Launched in India with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC: Check Price, Specs, Availability, Offers

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has officially been unveiled in India. The Edge 50 Pro arrives in India as the first 'Pro' smartphone in the series since the Motorola Edge 30 Pro back in 2022 and will take on the likes of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus and Vivo V30.

While the Motorola Edge 50 Pro does appear to be a premium mid-range offering, it features some flagship-worthy features, including a versatile triple-camera setup, an IP68 rating, and super-fast wireless charging support.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro price in India starts from Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model with the 68W charging adapter. Additionally, the 12GB/256GB variant of the Edge 50 Pro with the 125W adapter will set you back Rs 35,999.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will go on sale in India from April 9 at 12 noon via Flipkart and the company's official website, and other leading stores. Customers can opt for an instant Rs 2,250 discount on the Motorola Edge 50 Pro using an HDFC Bank card or an exchange bonus of Rs 2,000.

However, Motorola will be offering the Edge 50 Pro at an early bird discount of Rs 2,000, bringing the base model down to Rs 27,999 and the top-end version down to Rs 31,999. The early bird discount will be available for a limited period. Customers will also get Reliance Jio Benefits and No Cost EMI payment options.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Color Options

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is offered in Luxe Lavender, Black Beauty, and Moonlight Pearl color options. The special edition Moonlight Purple variant of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be available for a limited time during the company's live commerce event on April 8 at 07:00 pm.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Motorola has also confirmed that the Edge 50 Pro will run Android 14-based Hello UI on top. Motorola is promising three years of OS upgrades and four years of regular security updates with the Edge 50 Pro.

Moreover, the Edge 50 Pro sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K p-OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a pixel density of 446ppi. The panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display features 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, HDR10+ support, and SGS Eye Protection.

Motorola's latest premium mid-range smartphone packs a 4500 mAh battery with 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. It also supports 10W wireless power sharing, but Motorola only bundles a 68W adapter in the box for the base model. The Edge 50 Pro features a 50 MP selfie camera with Auto Focus and an f/1.9 aperture.

On the back, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro opts for a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.4 aperture and OIS support. The phone also comes with a 13 MP ultrawide Macro Vision camera and a 10 MP telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, OIS support, and 3x optical zoom.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro also comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It also features an in-display fingerprint reader and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Edge 50 Pro boasts an aluminum frame, while the back panel uses silicone vegan leather. However, the Moonlight Pearl variant opts for a TPU finish.
