Motorola Edge 50 Spotted on Multiple Certifications; Launch Likely Soon
Motorola seems to be launching a new Edge series smartphone soon. The brand is already selling the Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion, and Edge 50 Ultra in the global and Indian markets. Now, the company is expected to launch the Edge 50 in the coming days.
The phone was spotted on multiple certification sites, hinting at an imminent launch. Here's what to expect from the upcoming Motorola Edge 50.

Motorola Edge 50 Expected to Launch Soon
The Motorola Edge 50 was spotted on several certification sites including TDRA, FCC, and EEC. The UAE's TDRA certification site reveals the moniker and the model number "XT2407-1". The smartphone with the same model number was spotted on FCC and EEC certifications.
The FCC certification suggests the Motorola Edge 50 could pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging. On the software front, it is expected to run Android 14 with Motorola's Hello UI on top.
Other features and design of the phone are still unknown at this moment. We expect to get more details in the coming days. To recall, its predecessor Motorola Edge 40 was launched last year with a price tag of Rs 29,999.
In terms of features, the Edge 40 has a 6.55-inch FHD+ 3D curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset also packs a 4,400 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
For imaging, there is a dual-camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Up front, the Edge 40 comes with a 32MP selfie camera.
