Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Design Teased Ahead of Launch in India: Check Expected Specifications and Pricing

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is anticipated to debut in India soon. Although the company has not confirmed the launch date or the name, teasers for a new Edge series phone have appeared online. These teasers hint at significant design and display features of the upcoming smartphone.

A Flipkart microsite for the Motorola Edge phone indicates that it will have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The IP68 rating ensures protection underwater, while IP69 signifies resistance against dust and high-pressure water jets.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: Display and AI Features

An X post by Motorola hints that the expected Edge 60 Fusion will feature a quad-curved display with "100 percent true colours." Additionally, the handset is teased to include AI-backed features, though specific AI tools are yet to be disclosed.

Leaks suggest that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will come with a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC and house a 5,500mAh battery.

Camera Specifications and Colour Options

For photography, the device could sport a 50-megapixel Sony LYT700 primary rear sensor, accompanied by a 13-megapixel secondary sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. The phone may be available in light blue, salmon (light pink), and lavender (light purple) colours.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is also expected to offer MIL-STD-810 military-grade durability certification alongside its IP ratings. This adds an extra layer of durability to the device.

Expected Pricing and Availability

In select global markets, the smartphone is tipped to cost EUR 350 (approximately Rs. 33,100) for the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. We expect the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion price in India to start from under Rs 30,000.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launch date in India is expected to take place on April 2, with the first sale expected to start on April 9. The previous model, Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, was launched in May 2024 in India.
