Motorola Edge 60 Pro Allegedly Spotted on India's BIS Certification; What to Expect?
Motorola is expected to launch a new Edge series phone soon -- dubbed the Edge 60 Pro, which will succeed the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Now, the alleged Motorola Edge 60 Pro has been spotted on India's BIS certification, suggesting an imminent launch. Here's what to expect from the next-gen Edge 60 Pro.
Alleged Motorola Edge 60 Pro Spotted on BIS Certification
A new Motorola phone identified with the XT2503-2 model number has appeared on India's BIS portal (as spotted by Team Xpertpick), said to be the Motorola Edge 60 Pro. To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Edge 40 Pro came with the model numbers XT2403-4 and XT2303-2, respectively.

Moreover, the global variant of the alleged Edge 60 Pro was also spotted on the EEC certification with the same XT2503-4 model number. However, both the BIS and EEC certification sites don't reveal any details about the upcoming Motorola smartphone.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro: What to Expect?
We expect the upcoming Motorola Edge 60 Pro will have a few upgrades over its predecessor Edge 50 Pro, which was launched with a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Edge 50 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
It remains to be seen if the brand uses a different processor for the next-gen Edge 60 Pro. On the software front, the Edge 50 Pro was launched with Android 14-based Hello UI on top; however, the upcoming model is expected to ship with Android 15 OS. It could also offer three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates like the Edge 50 Pro.
The Edge 50 Pro packs a 4500 mAh battery with 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. We expect the Edge 60 Pro might pack a larger battery compared to the previous-gen model. For imaging, the Edge 50 Pro has a 50MP triple-camera setup and a 50MP selfie camera. Stay tuned to Gizbot for all the latest information surrounding the upcoming Moto Edge 60 Pro.
