Motorola Edge 60 Pro Launch Date Set for April 24, 2025: Moto Razr 60 Ultra will Tag Along

Motorola has officially announced the launch date for two new smartphones. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Moto Razr 60 Ultra are arriving this month, while the vanilla Razr 60 could also tag along.

Motorola's upcoming launch event will take place on April 24, 2025. While the official poster does showcase a clamshell folding smartphone, which is likely the Razr 60 Ultra, the other handset is expected to be the Edge 60 Pro. Moreover, the launch poster also has the two devices arranged to say 'AI', hinting at upcoming AI features on the new devices.

The launch of the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Edge 60 Pro was teased on the company's official handle, suggesting it will hit European and North American markets before arriving in India. While details about the two phones are still under wraps, their specifications are well known through various leaks and rumours.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro Specifications

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC paired with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. Rumors indicate that the upcoming device will feature a 6.67 inch 1.5K 10 bit pOLED display (2712 x 1220 pixels) with a 144Hz refresh rate, promising ultra smooth visuals.

The device will offer configurations of 8GB or 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB storage. Dual SIM capability (nano + nano) is also anticipated. On the camera front, a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 13MP 120° ultra wide lens with autofocus and macro-option, and a 50MP telephoto camera are expected, along with a 32MP front camera.

Additionally, it will support USB Type C audio, feature stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, boast IP68 and IP69 ratings, offer comprehensive connectivity, and include a 600mAh battery with 90W TurboPower fast charging. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is expected to run on Android 15.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Specifications

Rumors suggest that the upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will boast a 6.96 inch internal FlexView FHD+ pOLED LTPO display (1224×2992 pixels) with a 1-165Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision, paired with a 4 inch external QuickView pOLED LTPO display (1272×1080 pixels) offering the same refresh capabilities.

It is expected to run on an Octa core Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 6nm Mobile Platform with an Adreno 830 GPU, 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Dual SIM (eSIM + nano) support is likely, along with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP 2× telephoto, and a 50MP front camera.

Additional features include USB Type C audio, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IPX8 water resistance, and a 4500mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast and wireless charging. The Moto Razr 60 Ultra will also run Android 15 out of the box.
