Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Chipset and Software Support Confirmed Ahead of Launch: Check Expected Price Range

Motorola recently announced the launch date of the Edge 70 Fusion in India. Moreover, the company also teased several features and specifications about the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, without mentioning details about its chipset or software support, until now.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: Performance, Software, Connectivity

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion's official Flipkart page confirms that the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Motorola claims that the Edge 70 Fusion can deliver an overall AnTuTu score surpassing one million points.

Additionally, Motorola has also revealed that the Edge 70 Fusion will come with a vapor chamber for enhanced cooling. Additionally, it will also support a 120 frames per second in BGMI. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will support NFC and Bluetooth 6.0 wireless connectivity.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will run Hello UI based on Android 16. Motorola has also promised three years of OS updates and five years of security updates with the Edge 70 Fusion. The handset will also offer Moto AI, which features integration with Copilot, Gemini, and Preplexity.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Design & Build, Display

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will come in three Pantone curated colours: Silhouette, Blue Surf, and Country Air. The phone feature a leather-inspired fabric finish on the back with a curved display and sleek (7.99mm) form factor.

The Edge 70 Fusion is MIL-810H military grade certified and has Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front. Moreover, it also boasts an IP68+IP69 rating for underwater protection, while the frame will likely be made of plastic.

The Moto Edge 70 Fusion is also touted to feature a 1.5K quad-curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. The display is confirmed to support HDR10+, while offering SGS Eye Protection and Smart Water Touch 3.0.

On the back, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera with Moto AI enhancements. This is paired with a 13MP ultra-wide sensor that also supports macro and depth photography. Motorola says the camera system is Pantone-certified for colour accuracy and natural-looking skin tones, promising more true-to-life images.

For selfies and video calls, the phone offers a 32MP front-facing camera. Motorola has confirmed that 4K video recording is supported across all cameras, including the selfie shooter. The Edge 70 Fusion is powered by a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 68W wired fast charging.

The Moto Edge 70 Fusion launch date in India is set for March 6 at 12 pm IST. Following its launch, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be available for purchase from March 6 as part of an 'Early Bird' sale.
