Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Full Specifications Emerge Ahead of Launch: Here’s What to Expect
Motorola is reportedly preparing to add the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion to its edge 70 line-up, with a fresh leak from @evleaks outlining major changes. The phone is tipped to swap MediaTek for Qualcomm silicon and gain a larger battery, while keeping a similar display and camera setup as earlier models.
The leak suggests that the Dimensity 7400 SoC seen in earlier expectations is no longer planned. Instead, the Motorola Edge 70 fusion is said to use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 platform, paired with a 7000mAh battery. The earlier 5500mAh capacity is therefore expected to be replaced by a much larger unit.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Specifications and Design
According to the report, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion may feature a nylon and linen-inspired rear panel. Colour options are expected to include Orient Blue, Sporting Green, Blue Surf, Country Air and Silhouette. These finishes suggest Motorola is again focusing on a textured look, similar to some earlier edge series models.
The display on the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is rumoured to be a 6.78-inch OLED panel with quad curves. It is said to support 1.5K resolution, HDR10+ and a 144Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness may reach up to 5200 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i is expected to offer front protection.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Specifications and Launch Timeline
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is rumoured to ship with Android 16 out of the box. The leak mentions “Android 16 (3 OS + 4 Years SMR)”, suggesting three major OS updates and four years of security maintenance releases, which would extend software support beyond many budget devices.
For durability, the phone is said to carry Military Grade Protection Certification (MIL STD-810H). It is also expected to offer dust and water resistance rated at IP68 and IP69. These ratings indicate protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water, adding more resilience for everyday Indian conditions.
Connectivity options on the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion are tipped to include 5G SA and NSA support, along with Dual 4G VoLTE. The phone is also said to feature Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and USB Type-C, covering most common network and accessory needs.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion launched in April last year, and the new leak suggests a similar schedule. Based on that pattern, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is expected around April this year. There are also rumours of another model, the edge 70 Fusion+, linked to the model number XT2605-1.
