Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Launched in India, Early Bird Sale Starts Today: Check Price, Specifications, Offers

Motorola has officially announced a new smartphone in its Edge series in India. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion arrives in India's mid-range segment, sitting just under the Moto Edge 70, which was unveiled last year.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion debuts as the world's 1st smartphone to use the Sony Sony-LYTIA 710 camera sensor. Moreover, it also features a super-smooth OLED display, a massive silicon carbon battery, a Snapdragon chipset, and a ton of AI features courtesy of Moto AI.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Price & Offers in India

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion price in India starts from Rs 26,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. It also comes in an 8GB/256GB and a 12GB/256GB configuration that will set you back Rs 29,999 and Rs 32,999, respectively.

Motorola is also offering an instant discount of Rs 2,000 for customers using HDFC and Axis credit cards. There's also a flat exchange bonus of Rs 2,000. Motorola is also offering free access to Google Gemini Pro Plan for 18 months, worth Rs. 35,100.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Sale in India

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will go on sale in India from 12th March 2026, 12pm onwards on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and at leading retail stores across India. However, Motorola is hosting an 'Early Bird' sale for the device between 12pm-4pm today on Flipkart.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The chip is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone is backed by a 4473mm² vapor chamber for improved cooling. The Edge 70 Fusion packs a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 68W TurboPower charging support.

Motorola's latest mid-range phone sports a quad-curved 6.78-inch 1.5K Super HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+ certification, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and 10-bit colour depth. It can also achieve a peak brightness of 5,200 nits. The Edge 70 Fusion packs dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.

Enhanced with Smart Water Touch, SGS Eye Care Certification, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the device offers an immersive yet durable viewing experience. Wireless connectivity options include NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, and support for 16 5G bands. The Moto Edge 70 Fusion runs on Hello UI based on Android 16, with Motorola promising 3 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates.

For optics, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera is accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide lens plus Macro Vision with a 120° field of view. Up front, the Moto Edge 70 Fusion opts for a 32MP selfie camera.

The device supports 4K HDR video recording across all cameras with seamless lens switching, along with features such as AI Photo Enhancement, Adaptive Stabilization, Portrait Mode with multiple focal lengths, Auto Night Vision, Horizon Lock, Hyperlapse, and Google Photos AI editing tools.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion includes moto AI 2.0, which adds AI-powered tools for productivity and content creation. Features include Next Move for contextual on-screen suggestions, along with creative tools such as AI Image Studio, Sketch to Image, Style Sync, Text to Sticker, and avatar creation.

Productivity tools include Catch Me Up 2.0 summaries, Pay Attention live transcription, AI Playlist Studio, Global Search, and Auto Screenshot Blur. It supports multiple AI assistants, including motoAI, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and Google Gemini.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Build and Design

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a redesigned chassis with linen-inspired fabric finishes on the rear panel. It measures 7.99mm in thickness and weighs 193g, with curved front glass that transitions into the rear panel to improve grip. The device is available in Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette colour options.

It is MIL-STD-810H certified, having passed 16 durability tests, and is designed to operate in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C with humidity tolerance up to 95%. The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and high-pressure water, and can withstand submersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for 30 minutes.
