Motorola’s upcoming Edge 70 Pro has now been spotted on Geekbench, giving a clearer picture of what the phone might offer in terms of performance. This comes soon after teaser material for the device started appearing online, pointing to an imminent launch.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Key Specs

The Geekbench listing, shared by tipster @yabhishekhd, shows the Edge 70 Pro scoring 1727 in single-core and 6563 in multi-core tests. These numbers suggest the phone is being positioned as a performance-focused option in its segment.

The listing also confirms Android 16 out of the box, along with a 12GB RAM variant.

Looking at the processor setup, the phone is said to use an octa-core ARMv8 chipset with a 1 + 3 + 4 configuration. There’s a prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, three performance cores at 3.20GHz, and four efficiency cores running at 2.20GHz. The GPU mentioned is the Mali-G720 MC8.

Poster Hints At Camera And Chip

Alongside the benchmark listing, a marketing poster shared by X user @_intakhab_alam adds a few more details. It mentions a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip, which lines up with what the Geekbench listing suggests.

The same poster also highlights a Sony Lytia 710 camera and mentions AI-based low-light imaging. Motorola appears to be focusing on night photography here, using the phrase “stunning night shots,” which has also been seen earlier on Flipkart’s microsite.

Design

Flipkart’s microsite has already revealed some of the design direction. The Edge 70 Pro is shown in three finishes: a blue variant with a fabric-like texture, an olive green option with a satin-style finish, and a white model with a marble-inspired look.

Motorola has been experimenting with materials in recent Edge devices, and this seems to continue that approach rather than sticking to a standard glass back.
