Motorola Edge 70 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Chip, Ultra-Sleek Design Launched in India: Price & Specifications

Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 in India. The Motorola Edge 70 debuts in the country's mid-range, although it features the ultra-slim form factor of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air.

Despite its sleek design, the Motorola Edge 70 also features a Snapdragon chip, a vibrant OLED display, a fast-charging support, a dual-rear camera setup, and best-in-class water resistance. Moreover, the Edge 70 doesn't come with the battery limitations of Apple and Samsung's sleek flagships.

Motorola Edge 70 Price in India

The Motorola Edge 70 price in India is set at Rs 29,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. The Edge 70 comes in three Pantone validated colours, including Bronze Green, Gadget Grey, and Lily Pad.

The Motorola Edge 70 will go on sale in India through Motorola.com and Flipkart from December 23 at 12:00 pm (IST). Customers can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on the Edge 70 using cards from select banks.

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 uses a 6.7-inch pOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. The display supports 10-bit colour, a 120Hz refresh rate, and reaches up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides front protection against scratches and minor drops.

Powering the Motorola Edge 70 is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. This mid-range processor is combined with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM for multitasking. The phone includes 512GB of internal storage, giving users generous space for apps, games, photos, and 4K videos without relying on cloud storage.

The rear camera setup on the Motorola Edge 70 features a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation. Another 50MP ultra-wide camera offers a 120° field of view and supports 4K recording at 30fps. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera handles video calls and social media shots.

Motorola fits the Motorola Edge 70 with a 5,000mAh battery. The phone supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Motorola claims up to 38 hours of mixed use on one charge, along with as much as 29 hours of continuous video playback under test conditions.

The Motorola Edge 70 has IP68 and IP69 ratings for resistance against water and dust, plus MIL-STD-810H durability. The chassis measures 5.99 mm thick and weighs 159 grams, giving it an ultra-slim profile. It also includes moto AI features, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos audio support.
