Motorola Edge 70 India Launch Date and Price Tipped
Motorola may be preparing to bring the Edge 70 to India sooner than expected. Tipster Mukul Sharma shared new details suggesting the phone could launch around December 15, along with a quick look at the color variants planned for the Indian market.

According to the leak, the India version will feature a bigger battery, retain its 5.99mm slim profile, and arrive at a price under ₹35,000, making it significantly more affordable than the global release.
The leaked renders show three finishes with textured backs and bold accent rings around the cameras. The design looks clean, minimal and in line with Motorola’s refreshed aesthetic for 2026.
What We Know From The Leak
Sharma claims the Indian variant will offer:
- A larger battery than the global version
- Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset
- A 50MP triple-camera setup
- Wireless charging support
- A slimmer-than-usual 5.99mm body despite the battery bump
If accurate, Motorola seems to be adjusting the hardware slightly to suit Indian buyers, especially with the focus on battery and pricing.
What The Global Motorola Edge 70 Brings
The global Motorola Edge 70, launched in November, already gave us a blueprint of what the core experience may look like.
The phone introduced a strikingly thin design at 5.99mm, wrapped in an aircraft-grade aluminum frame with a soft, nylon-inspired finish. It comes with IP68/IP69 protection, Gorilla Glass 7i and Pantone-curated colors.
On the camera front, the global model features three 50MP cameras: a main sensor with 4K video, an ultrawide + macro lens and a high-resolution front camera. Motorola’s moto ai tools handle color tuning, portraits and scene adjustments.
Powering the global variant is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, paired with a 4800mAh silicon-carbon battery, along with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The India model is expected to follow this template closely, with minor adjustments to battery capacity and pricing.
