Motorola is looking ready to jump in the AI action with its upcoming Moto X50 Ultra. The teaser video, recently released by the tech giant, showcases not only the sleek design inspired by Formula 1 cars but, more importantly, highlights the device's AI capabilities.

The teaser offers fleeting glimpses of the Moto X50 Ultra, revealing a sophisticated leatherette back and a discreetly positioned camera in the top left corner. While the video includes a Formula 1 car, it's the emphasis on AI that steals the spotlight.

Racing Towards the F1 China Grand Prix

A cryptic Weibo post accompanying the video alludes to the F1 China Grand Prix, set for April 21. Given that Motorola's parent company, Lenovo, is an official F1 sponsor, speculation arises that the Moto X50 Ultra might make its debut around this racing event.

Decoding Moto's Naming Scheme

Intriguingly, there was no X40 Pro or Ultra in the previous year's lineup. Instead, the Moto X40 entered the global market, later rebranded as the Moto Edge 40 Pro with minor upgrades. Preceding this, the Moto X30 Pro transformed into the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. Notably, the Moto X series has never seen an Ultra variant before, making the Moto X50 Ultra a much-anticipated addition.

Adhering to Motorola's naming convention, it is speculated that the Edge 50 Pro will align with the Moto X50 rather than the X50 Ultra. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is anticipated to feature a 4,500mAh battery equipped with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This is closely aligned with the specifications of the Edge 40 Pro, boasting a 4,600mAh battery, 125W wired charging, but only 15W wireless charging.
