Motorola has launched its latest Android smartphone. The Motorola Moto G54 5G is an aggressively priced feature-packed 5G-enabled smartphone.

The Moto G54 5G is now officially available in China, and it will arrive in India tomorrow, September 6, 2023. Let's look at the specifications, features, price, and availability of the Moto G54 5G.

Motorola Moto G54 5G Price, Availability

Motorola recently launched the Moto G84 5G in the Indian market. Despite being a new device and priced attractively, the latest Motorola midrange smartphone packs an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which powers its predecessor, the Moto G82.

The Motorola Moto G54 5G, however, appears to be an entirely new Android smartphone, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. There are two variants of the Moto G54 5G launched in China.

The Motorola Moto G54 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at just Yuan 1,099 (approx. $150 / ₹12,500). The Moto G54 5G will also be available with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage at a slightly higher price.

The Motorola Moto G54 5G will be launched in India tomorrow, September 6, 2023. Its price in India could be higher than the Chinese prices.

Motorola Moto G54 5G (Indian / Chinese) Specifications, Features

Motorola has built two models of the Moto G54 5G. In other words, Indian smartphone buyers will get a different model of the smartphone with slightly varying specifications and features.

Both the Chinese and Indian models of the Motorola Moto G54 5G feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate. Both models have a 50MP primary camera on the back and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Both models feature a dual rear camera setup. While the Chinese variant of the Motorola Moto G54 5G has a 2MP (depth) secondary camera on the back, the Indian model has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

The Dimensity 7020 SoC is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 13 with a custom layer of MyUX. Motorola has promised 3 years of software support and a single major OS update.

The Indian variant of the Moto G54 5G will pack a 6000mAh battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging. The Chinese model packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W wired fast charging. Motorola is expected to include a 33W charger in the Indian retail box of the Moto G54 5G.

The Chinese variant of the Motorola smartphone is available in three Vegan Leather finish options: Blue, Green, and Magenta. The Indian variant will be available in Mint Green, Midnight Blue, and Pearl Blue. This variant will have a "glass-like" plastic finish.
