Earlier this year, the entire 2018 lineup of Motorola smartphones was leaked. So we already know that the company is planning to launch three new smartphones under the G series, namely the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play. It was only yesterday when we came to know that all these smartphones will come with the trending 18:9 displays.
Now, famed leakster Andri Yatim has taken to Twitter to post renders of the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus. The Moto G6 render shows the smartphone's rear and front part both. Whereas, you can only see the front part of the Moto G6 Plus. While the renders may not come from any official source, they look pretty authentic. And we won't be surprised if the Motorola smartphones eventually turn out to sport the same design.
As you can see in the picture above, the Moto G6 sports an elongated display with a possible aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone sports slimmer bezels that its predecessor, but it still has a physical home button which could double function as the fingerprint scanner.
The handset sports a dual rear camera setup where the image sensors are placed in a circular housing. The camera sensors are accompanied by dual-LED flash. If you go a little south, you can see the branding.
Moto G6 Plus
As stated, only the front part of the Motorola Moto G6 Plus is revealed in the render. The smartphone looks almost the same as the Moto G6. While there are some minor differences, you won't probably notice them.
The Moto G6 is also expected to feature dual cameras at the back.
Expected specs, features and price
According to the leakster, the Moto G6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. The NFC-enabled smartphone is further said to be equipped with a 3,000mAh battery to keep the lights on. On the software front, it is will run on Android 8.0 Oreo OS with custom ZUK skin on top.
The Moto G6 Plus, on the other hand, will reportedly feature a slightly bigger 3,250mAh battery. There is no information on the phone's other specs and features.
Finally, the Motorola Moto G6 Play is tipped to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and a 4,000mAh battery. However, we don't think the Play variant will have a larger battery than the Plus variant.
Coming to the pricing aspect, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus are rumored to cost Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 17,000 respectively. While the Moto G6 Play is likely to carry a price tag of Rs. 12,000.
