The Motorola Moto G84 5G is expected to launch in India in the next few days. The eagerly-anticipated successor to the highly successful Moto G82 5G could be a tough competitor to the Redmi Note 13, Redmi 12, Realme 11, and other midrange Android smartphones.

The Motorola Moto G82 5G packed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is a capable midrange chipset. The Motorola Moto G84 5G is expected to feature an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, presumably the 778G Plus or the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which could be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

According to the latest leak, the Moto G84 5G will feature a 10-bit Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The leaked renders suggest Motorola has worked hard to improve the cosmetic details of the midrange smartphone, which is surprising considering the market positioning. A centrally located punch-hole cutout at the top should house the 16MP selfie camera.

The display itself appears to have flat edges and narrow bezels, while the entire smartphone seems to have a boxy design with rounded edges. Multiple smartphones from other manufacturers have a similar design, which seems to enhance handling.

The volume rocker and the power button are located at their conventional location on the right edge, while the dual SIM tray is visible on the left edge of the Moto G84 5G.
