Motorola Moto X Play Receives Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update in India

As announced, Motorola has started rolling out the Android 6.0.1 for the Moto X Play smartphones in the Indian market. Earlier, this year, the company has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the same handset.

This Android 6.1 Marshmallow update carries a code name v24.61.52 for the Moto X Play with a size of 387.48MB. Further, this update also contains Android Security update for March 2016. As per the update log, it supports:

Unicode 8.0 Emoji: With this update, your smartphone will support all the emoji up to the Unicode 8.0 update on your phone. As of now, there are over 100 new emojis, with new updates also.

Now launch camera using power button: After this update, your can launch the camera app by double-pressing the power button.

Camera shutter tone switch: Now you can turn off or turn on the sound of the camera shutter.

Also, this update includes stability improvements that fixes the bug and improve the performance of your phone.
